Q: How do I book a birthday party?
A: Booking a birthday party is simple. Visit mainevent.com or call your local Main Event Sales Manager.
Q: Is there a minimum number of kids required for a birthday party?
A: Party packages must include a minimum of 10 kids. For 15 or more kids, please call your local Main Event Sales Manager to accommodate your group.
Q. What are the food options for a birthday party?
A: Party packages come one menu selection for the entire group and includes a choice of cheese or pepperoni pizza, chicken quesadilla, chicken tenders or junior burgers.
Q: What times are available for birthday parties?
A: We have a variety of days and times available for parties. If you cannot find your requested time online, please contact your local Main Event and speak with one of our Sales Professionals.
Q: How much does a kid’s birthday party cost?
A: We have a lot of great packages to meet all budget needs. Package prices vary based on number of activities selected. Our packages range from $9.95 - $29.95.
Q: What does the Party Host do?
A: Your Party Host is your ambassador of FUN. They will greet you and your guest upon arrival, collect birthday presents and get all of the kids round up for fun. They will lead the kids through each of the activities and ensure that your party is an amazing experience.
Q: Do you provide invitations?
A: We have evite invitations available online at the end of the booking process.
Q: Are we able to stay longer than our party time?
A: We want our guests to stay as long as you wish. However, your party table and party host are only available during your party time. You can always stay and play games after your event but your party table and / or room will be used to accommodate other parties.
Q: Can we bring our own cake for a birthday party?
A: Absolutely! We welcome birthday cakes and cupcakes for the party. We ask that no additional outside food is allowed, including ice cream or ice cream cakes or any product that need to be refrigerated.
Q: Can I bring my own decorations?
A: We will provide you will all of the essentials; one balloon bouquet, plates cups, napkins, utensil and a knife to cut your cake. We have goodie bags available for an additional cost. If you would prefer themed decorations, you are welcome to bring them in. We just ask that you do not bring in confetti or glitter. We allow 15 minutes prior to arrival for set up.
Q: Do we have to book to have birthday party or can we bring or own cake and use a table in the restaurant area?
A: Booking a birthday party is always recommended. We cannot guarantee seating for guests who show up without a reservation.
Q: We want to celebrate a birthday today. Can we plan a party?
A: Although we require 72 hours to book a party online, you can call your local center and check availability.
Q. What is a FUNcard?
A: FUNcards are rechargeable cards that can be used throughout our center. FUNcards can be used to store cash and can be used for all activities, food and beverages. FUNcards included in birthday party packages can be used for video game play only.
Q: How long is my bowling time and what is involved?
A: We schedule 1 hour for bowling with our birthday packages and it includes arrival and prep time at the lanes, so expect 45 minutes of actual bowling time. Bowling shoes are included with party packages. We reserve one lane for 5 -6 guests.
Q: How long will we have the party table / room?
A: Party tables / rooms are reserved for one hour. This time will cover your food and cake service.
Q: How long are the activities?
A: Laser Tag sessions are 15 minutes. Gravity ropes adventure course is 20 minutes. A $5 FUNcard will typically get kids 3-4 game plays in our games gallery.
Q: Is there an age limit on having a party at Main Event?
A: Main Event is the perfect place for all ages. We do have height requirements on a couple of our activities. You must be 48” tall to play laser tag and 42” tall to play rock climbing.

A: We have a variety of birthday party packages to meet all budget needs. Review our package options at mainevent.com
Q: What is required to book a party?
A: We require a $100 deposit along with a contract detailing your party. The final party balance will be due in full the day of your party.
Q: Are taxes or any other charges included in the price?
A: The package price does not include sales tax or service charges. Your party contract will provide estimate sales tax and service charges based on the package selected.
Q: What happens if my guest count changes or if I need to cancel?
A: We will reach out to you three days prior to your event date to finalize all details and guest counts. This will be the last day to decrease your guest count, adjust your event package or cancel your event and receive a full refund. We will always do our best to accommodate any last minute guest count increases, but will be based on availability.
