WHEN IS WORLD WISH MONTH?

The first wish was granted on April 29, 1980. To honor the founding wish and the original WishMakers, April is recognized as World Wish Month. During this special time, Make-A-Wish® and its partners come together to honor the life-changing wishes granted to children facing critical illnesses.

WHAT IS A WISHMAKER?

Wishes don’t come true by luck or chance. They come true because of WishMakers® - people who take action for wish kids. Everyone has the power to help make a wish come true. Even the smallest contributions can come together to create a powerful impact.

HOW CAN I HELP?

Become a WishMaker® and make wishes come true with us! Donate $5 or more at any Main Event location from April 29 - May 31 and get $20 in FREE game play with a $20 game play purchase. Your donations will go toward fulfilling Seven's wish to be a chef.

WHO IS SEVEN?

In 2020, Seven’s health took an unexpected turn. After many tests, she received a shocking diagnosis: end-stage kidney failure. Over the next 18 months, Seven endured the toughest moments of her life. But through it all, she never lost her smile. Seven’s favorite way to bring happiness to others is through food. The kitchen is her happy place, away from the doctor’s appointments and treatments. Seven’s wish was to be a chef. “My wish replaced the bad memories and made me feel like the bad stuff didn’t happen,” Seven said. “The WishMakers cared about me.”
